As August 7 draws closer, more and more rumors about new products are being released. These include a second generation iPod Nano, iTunes Movie features, and a new MacPro.
Paul did a good job explaining the new iTunes movie rentals as well as the new iPod Nano. Please check his web site for that information.
According to Apple Insider, the case will be similar to the current Power Mac case with only a few modifications. Below is a mocked rendering of the front and rear of the new case.

The new Mac Pro is rumored to come in three models starting with a Dual-Core 2GHz Intel Xeon and go up to a 2.66 GHz Dual-Core Intel Xeon. The processors have 4MB of shared L2 cache, 1.333 GHz front side bus clock rate, and a ATI X1800 GTO video card with 256MB of GDDR3 onboard video RAM. The pricing is expected to start at $1799 for the entry model.
Oh I had hoped that the new case would be much smaller. The current one is way too large.
Yeah it is one of the largest computer cases I\’ve seen. Dell has a case that is about the same size but It seems that they could make it smaller than the old G4 Tower.
Are you still going to be at Yahoo! around August 7, and will you get to peek in on any of the WWDC stuff?
