It is official, I took my last final at 11:30 a.m. today and finished up around 2:20 p.m. It was lengthly but nobody finished so hopefully I made average. I probably think this every semester, but I don’t recall when I have ever been as ready to get a break from school as I was this semester. This was my first semester as a graduate student so it was a little rocky. Nonetheless, I am half way through with my Masters degree! Hear are a list of the courses I took.

- ECE 6610 Wireless Networking (Very Cool Class)
- ECE 6336 Dynamics and Control of Electric Machine Drives
- MGT 6300 Introduction to Marketing (MBA Class)
I hope I have a high enough GPA to be able to continue doing my research assistantship with Dr. Ingram. I still have a few loose ends to tie up. I am going to continue to work with Dr. Ingram the upcoming week on our research project and try to quantify some results from our study.
Plans for the Summer
Summer hasn’t even begun and I already have lost of plans for what I will be doing. I guess the closest upcoming event is going to graduation tomorrow at the Georgia Dome. I have a few friends graduating and hope to meet up with Sasha and Clarissa for lunch.
I am also going to the Atlanta Zoo with Chrissy and her students (How Exciting!). This will be my first trip to the Atlanta Zoo but I’m sure I will have to make it back without the kids so I can actually enjoy the experience.
Throughout the summer I will travel home (Tennessee) and to Florida. I am going to TN for a few wedding one of which includes my sister. We are also planning on going home with some of our friends to Florida for some fun in the sum.
Most importantly or the most time consuming will be my summer internship. I am working for Siemens Energy and Automation division in the marketing department. The position sounds like it will be a nice blend of engineering, business, marketing, and product management. I believe I will enjoy it as I am very excited to get started. From my understanding, they just finished up a product launch and are launching a new product (both which are circuit breakers) this summer. My boss also mentioned me working with IT and some of their customers on a support website!

- Go to the gym semiweekly (or more)
- Learn how to use Motion/FCP
- I am sure there are more; just drawing a blank right now
- I also plan on buying a MacBook this summer! I will probably wait until after WWDC 2007 just in case
