Last summer I started BlakeBrannon.com and used a slightly modified K2 theme. It was my first theme and I was just getting started with Wordpress but for quite some time now I have been very dissatisfied and embarrassed by the way my site looks. This past week I have some time on my hands and now use a customized GlossyBlue theme which for the moment is nameless.
In addition to changing the theme, I added a few new features. The Most Popular column shows a list of the most popular posts. The Frequent Commenters show the most frequent commenters in the last 30 days. Thus if you makes lots of comments about my posts, you will get your name and web link on the sidebar.
I will continue to make lots of smaller changes as I have more time later this week and before school starts. I would really like to get the content updates more frequent and increase the quality of my posts. I am by no means good with CSS so if you find errors or the website is displayed funny, please send me a description of the problem via the contact form. I also would like to get any feedback you have about the site design. I have yet to test the site in Internet Explorer but without checking I already know there will be problems. In addition to making the site browser compatible, I need to Paul Stamatiou-nize the site and make it more efficient via spirits, CSS compress, and S3.
Lastly I wanted to thank some of fellow bloggers who help inspire my site design. Thanks to Paul Stamatiou, and Mike Malone.

Hey man, looks really good! Very clean/fresh. The glossyblue theme is really well designed, it’s so easy to modify & customize. I like what you’ve done.
Pookie… look, you know my feelings about this new website design thing you have going here. Yeah for the new wesbite!! I love and support you always!
@Chrissy: Thanks for the post. Sorry I’ve been consumed the past few days working on my site. I am sad to announce that I am still not finished… Sorry.
Looks neat and clean. I like it. Got to your site through TC.
