If you upgraded to OS X 10.4.11 recently and have noticed a small problem with Safari; it no longer works! The symptoms of this are that Safari will not load any webpage nor will it respond to bookmark links. Is it dead? Probably not.
A quick check under the hood and you will see that along with the 10.4.11 update came Safari 3.0.4. The problem that is happening is that you might have an older version of PicLens installed. What you will need to do is simply uninstall it via the View->PicLens->Remove PicLens menu in Safari and then restart Safari. You should be good to go now. Then just visit PicLens.com and reinstall the newest version of PicLens.

great and Apple tech support cant tell you to fix this….I have had unistall reinstall and now reinstall my whole os to make this work…of course then one of the cd’s does not want to load properly go figure ready to throw mac out the window
