The semester is ending and I have been taking finals all week. Between juggling finals, finishing a research paper, graduation, and moving, I have been very busy. Hopefully I will get time to write a good post about my research on IEEE 802.11p Vehicle to Vehicle communications and the new job I will be taking with Wandering Wifi.

Enough with the chatter, the main purpose of this post is to wish you a Happy Holiday season. Because we have so many friends, we decided to only send cards to a select number of people and use the website to wish everyone else Happy Holidays.

Last summer I started BlakeBrannon.com and used a slightly modified K2 theme. It was my first theme and I was just getting started with Wordpress but for quite some time now I have been very dissatisfied and embarrassed by the way my site looks. This past week I have some time on my hands and now use a customized GlossyBlue theme which for the moment is nameless.

When I set out on my blogging adventure, I choose Yahoo! small business as my hosting provider due to their low price and feature full package. After setting up the account (http://www.blakeopedia.com) and attempting to install Wordpress and Gallery, I noticed I did not have administrative privileges to control my MySQL database. This limited me from even installing Gallery on the server. After reading the support documents and emailing Yahoo! customer support, the issue still wasn’t resolved. I finally called customer support and flip-flopped between the tech support and accounting department trying to figure out why my account had been flagged and the MySQL problem.
