Since Chrissy and I stayed in Atlanta for the Fourth of July, we decided to enjoy some of the local festivities. We went down to Centennial Olympic Park for the Fourth of July firework show (The largest one in the southeast, so they said). Overall it was a good outing. It was very crowded but the show was good. Be sure to check out the photos.

So, you don’t think I have had anything interesting on my website lately? Yeah I know. I’ve just been real busy. The summer internship is quite a bit of work. I am staying very busy and most of the time find myself working on stuff for work when I get home. Oh well the experience is good right! Aside from that, I have been devoting all website time to two other sites. Hopefully one of the site I will finish in the next few weeks, but the other will be an ongoing task for the next few months.
I recently purchased a Blackberry 8800 and love it! I would love to write up a post but haven’t found the time yet. You can check out Paul’s post on his new Blackberry Curve. Maybe I will get mine going soon. I also would like to give a massive overhaul to the site. It has looked the same for too long. Maybe I will get to this by the end of the summer.
On a fun note, Chrissy and I have been enjoying our first summer in Atlanta as a married couple. We went to Panama City last weekend. We got to get a good tan, saw dolphins, and played frisbee.
Earlier this morning, we went to the Atlanta Botanical Gardens. They have some pretty cool flowers and giant insects.

It is official, I took my last final at 11:30 a.m. today and finished up around 2:20 p.m. It was lengthly but nobody finished so hopefully I made average. I probably think this every semester, but I don’t recall when I have ever been as ready to get a break from school as I was this semester. This was my first semester as a graduate student so it was a little rocky. Nonetheless, I am half way through with my Masters degree! Hear are a list of the courses I took.

- ECE 6610 Wireless Networking (Very Cool Class)
- ECE 6336 Dynamics and Control of Electric Machine Drives
- MGT 6300 Introduction to Marketing (MBA Class)
I hope I have a high enough GPA to be able to continue doing my research assistantship with Dr. Ingram. I still have a few loose ends to tie up. I am going to continue to work with Dr. Ingram the upcoming week on our research project and try to quantify some results from our study.
