Just uploaded a couple of sets of photos. Be sure to check out Valentine’s Day 2007 and UT Martin Steppin 2007.
As you could have guessed from the title, I have finished my undergraduate degree. I will graduate on Saturday December 16 at 3:00 pm EST with a degree in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Exciting right? For the most part, yes. After only four and a half short years of being in college, I will have something to show (a piece of paper) for all my hard work. Although going through college and paying way too much out-of-state tuition only gets you a diploma, it is unbelievable the massive amount of knowledge I have obtained since I have been in college. In particular, since I have been at Tech, I have tenfold the amount of knowledge than when I came here two years ago.
Wednesday
Got up on Wednesday and went and to my ECE3080 test at 10 a.m. I left, went and got my truck, and headed back to the apartment. After waiting on Chrissy to pack and get ready, we left around noon. Leaving Atlanta wasn’t that bad. I imagine we just barely missed the traffic rush. We hit traffic in Chattanooga (Of course, get more than 2 lanes going through the city). We coasted through Nashville fine but hit traffic again in Dickson. We finally got home at around 7:30 p.m. We started to play the game Boxers and Briefs and probably shut down around 1 a.m.
Well its that time of year again. I’m not talking about when the leaves change color or some religious holiday has come. I’m talking about the time of year when my Inbox fills with Facebook notifications, from people I haven’t talked to in years and probably won’t for a while, Egreeting.com links, and some plain text of everyone just saying “Happy Birthday”. This year I’m 22 so I will definitely have to change some of the “About Me” text on the site.
The most important thing is that Chrissy’s birthday is tomorrow. Tonight we are going to get something to eat and then tomorrow we are going to go to the Georgia Tech vs Virginia football game. I don’t know how I talked Chrissy into going to a football game on her birthday but oh well. We are going home this weekend to visit with some of our family and to get those darn wedding gifts situated and hopefully get some “Thank You” cards out to everyone. Next weekend is our fall church retreat, at Bethany Hills, so I guess we will be busy for a little while. Anyway thanks everyone for the “Happy Birthday” messages and don’t forget to tell the same to Chrissy tomorrow.
